In the early 1990s, Acappella sought to branch out into a variety of musical genres distinct from their own unique style. With this desire to expand musically and with friends all across the country that could sing like crazy, the Acappella Series was born – a collection of albums based on different musical genres and topical themes, employing the talents of numerous Acappella Company vocalists and many, many guest singers.
